Default So it begins!!

I bought a 92 hatch DX a few months ago, finally got some money to start working on it. It has 131,000 miles, the timing was never done, so I took care of that before I ended up needing a valve job or worse. Just got my stage 1 clutch, master and slave yesterday, so I will be putting those on tomorrow. I attempted to fix the water leak from under the passenger side of the dash but it still seems to be leaking. I had to remove the carpet due to the interior smelling like ass from the mildew caused by the water leak. My buddy HatchVX hooked me up with the rear glass from his old hatch because the defrost thingy broke off, he also hooked me up with some new speakers, now I have four yay!! HatchVX is the man, he even helped fabricate spacers for the front speakers so the window wouldn't hit them when rolled down. Its a work in progress but not a bad little car for $950.:hi5:

I wanted to pick up this hatch so bad. It is exactly like my first hatch besides being a DX. For the most part its a very clean hatch.

Nice little hatch. I miss my bubbleback. Are you sure your heater core is not bad? thats usually what causes leaks inside the car.

No, its definately water, cuz it is only when it rains or when I wash the car. Honda has a service bulletin about the seams not being sealed enough, I attemted to fix it but apparently didn't do a good job, so I will probably have to look at it more in depth.

Take your windshield wipers off and then remove that plastic guard if your careful you can get it off without taking the hood off. If you poor some water in there you can see where it leaks and then dry it out and either weld it shut or caulk it. I would weld it if you can because caulking stops the water from draining all the way out of there. Its towards the right side edge on the passenger side.
