Default Aerogear carbon fiber hood any good?

A friend of my sister is selling an Aerogear cf hood for a 98 Civic for a very reasonable price. It's a "grade b" (which is supposed to be very high quality). He says it fits perfectly and is absolutely flawless. The edges are rolled and it uses the stock latch and doesn't require hood pins.

My question is, has anyone had experience with this brand? Are they any good? Anyone with something bad to say about this brand? Lemme know what you guys think, here's a pic:

I thought that grade "b" was the worst kind (according to www.wholehyper.com anyways). But if it has the underside skeleton, the rolled edges, and the hood latch, then you should be gravy. See if you could test fit it first before you purchase.

Hmm well that's what the seller told me, I had no knowledge of this brand before so I didn't know. Actually at first I did think grade b would be kinda like a defective hood but when I asked the seller he said it wasn't Well I'll check out that website.. I'll be sure to check everything and try it out on my car before buying it. He did say the edges are rolled and uses stock latch...

I have a friend that has a CF hood on her 4 door teggy and it's not all that great... There is no underside skeleton (like OEM's), they don't have rolled edges, but it does utilize the stock latch. But for extra security, she added pins to them. And right now, the center of the hood is all oxidized and turning white... Not a pretty sight.

Ouch! Is it one of those generic hoods? If not what brand is it? I've seen a few of those generic ones and they don't look too pretty.

just to let you know that isnt an aerogear c/f hood on that civic. anyhow, go w/ FI or VIS or Bomex. and you dont need to have a skeleton, the skeleton doesnt make it more expensive.

random..ive seen alot of people get the arospeed c/f hood, and its a nasty site in a couple months...

You get what you pay for, it may look "OK" but the price definitely has something to do with quality. The quality of CF varies, and they're not "all the same". I've seen some really cheesy CF hoods with REALLY bad CF weaves, like patch work... I'd suggest going for a better quality hood.
