Aerogear carbon fiber hood any good?

They install basically like regular hoodpins, except the pins don'tactually protrude thru the hood. A lock cylinder gets bolted to the hood, and engages the tops of the pins to lock the hood in place. You use a key to lock and unlock them.

Those are chrome, but I've seen black ones.

I don't like the look of hood locks. I actually dig the way hood pins look. Chris have you seen black hood pins b4?

Cool I've never seen them and was considering getting some but didn't know if anyone made them. I've only see silver, blue, and red. Where can black ones be found?

Thanks for the info. Isn't there some sort of lock that could go around the latch and be unoticeable? If not, someone should make something like that.

i just got regular sparco pins
i dont really like the way locks look on certain car, not mines so i got locks, but i took my car past 100 with the hood and it was fine

Hehe I've gone 110 with my VIS hood on my Integra with no pins just stock latch

Hmm, can't seem to find any pics of the black ones. Maybe I'm trippin. Well, you can always get em annodized

ive done 130 even though nothing happened i was still alittle :ugh: about it with no pins
