I have a friend that has a CF hood on her 4 door teggy and it's not all that great... There is no underside skeleton (like OEM's), they don't have rolled edges, but it does utilize the stock latch. But for extra security, she added pins to them. And right now, the center of the hood is all oxidized and turning white... Not a pretty sight. 
Ouch! Is it one of those generic hoods? If not what brand is it? I've seen a few of those generic ones and they don't look too pretty.
