advancing timing via the distributor
i got a d16z6...
anyways, i read somewhere that you advance timing by turning the distributor cap. Now, i know that works for old cars (as my old plymouth you do it this way) but this guy was talking about a honda. That made me confused cuz there is only one way to put on the distributor cap on my car since its not round persay but more rectangular. so I can't twist it.
Also, the rotor looks like it only goes on one way....
Everything just slaps right on right? i don't need to fuc with timing or anything....

Loosen the three bolts on the dist. (not the cap) and turn towards the firewall. You'll hear the engine's r's increase also, assuming you don't have a timing light. Run premium or die!
