I was under the assumtion that you run a D16, since you never ever once mentioned a B16 in this thread or your signature.

if D16 then:

I just did...

Your fuel economy goes to hell, you don't burn all the fuel, you get excess carbon deposites both in your engine and in your cat, exaust etc.

its like drinkin coke instead of gatorade when running a marathon.

Coke may taste better, but your body doesn't use it as well as the gatorade.

thanks, yea that is what i meant, typing faster than thinking wned: me

I moderate this forum...

I read what I want to read, and look for stupid posts, flame wars, and people I can ban. I don't have time to know each members setup.

have a nice day

I agree, as I have the same car as the previous poster's username. 11.9 =)

Of course, fuel gauges are always pessimistic...cars have to have some gas to reach the next gas station when the needle is on E. =P

In my manual, which I have sitting next to my computer, says 11.9. I can only fill about 10 of it, which makes me think that there is a lot of **** in the bottom of the tank. I don't know though, the thing is on E and I fill about 9.9 gal. This is the way I figure it, from F to 3/4 is 3 Gallons, from 3/4 to 1/4 is 6 gallons, and from 1/4 to E is .9 gallons :exnbp:. I'm at 250 on this tank and I'm hoping that my car will start in the morning :d.

Face it - the only way to know exactly how much your tank will hold is to drive it until you run out of gas, then fill it up. Obviously carry a spare gas can with you, and know exactly how much it holds, and consider that when filling up, taking into account approximately how much you burn on your way to the gas pump.

Wouldn't it be easier to just READ THE FRICKIN MANUAL?
