Lug nuts can strip or seize on the stud if you don't properly clean them when installing/removing them.

I always wipe them with a towel and put some anti-seize on them. Remember to only torque them to 80ft/lbs. If you go by just arm strength most people OVERTIGHTEN causing the threads to strip.

In my experience it is never the lug nut manufacturer's fault always the installer/user.

And yes I've had my fair share of sheared lug nuts/studs. Since I change my wheels/tires about 40 times a year when I autocross.

....
but do you apply antiseize on the whole stud itself or on the lugnut tip only where the lugnut touches the wheel?

If you put it on the stud you will get antiseize on your wheel. I put a dab on the inside of the lug before installing. Ever since 2002 when I started doing it I've never stripped or had problems with my lugs/studs. Before that I must have stripped or seized a lug nut/stud about 3-4 times a year.

There are 2 different lugs for Hondas.

Acorn (conical) shaped and ball (spherical) shaped. Just make sure you look at the lug seats before buying.

Any idea on where to look for a wrench? (be it that i dont get knew lugs)
When i got the car, the guy didnt give me the wrench.
The inserts are inside the lugnut and take a special tool.
