102,000 miles.
i was lookin through Recycler and Autotrader and they all seem to be $5,500-6,500 for 1996-1997 DX hatchbacks.

Well I appreciate all the responses, but He said the lowest he could take is $4000, and he said he would give me a bit more for my car on trade in value. But you also have to take in where I live, over in NC older Civics are a rare commodity and they might be a bit more expensive than where you live. KBB says $5400 for all the information I put in so I'll just see where they can get my payments and things.

damn dude, SoCal, OC like 4 months or so ago I bought my 95 DX with like... 78k or so miles for 46 hunnit after tax and tag and everything. If it's the only Honda you can get, and you really really hate waiting, then go for it. p3ace!

Well, Put it this way. After I blew my first B16A I got frustrated and I was going to slap the ol' D16Z6 (perfectly maintained) back in my my 93' EX Coupe and sell it for $5,500.00 and it had a brand new paint job, pro-kit, and rims/tires. Hell, if I would have known the mark up was so high up there, I would have driven to North Cakkalacky and sold it for a couple of grand more and then flown back. There is a guy here selling a teal (ugly color but it's in great shape) Hybrid Cx hatch (B18C1) for $6,800.00, It has GSR rims, clean interior, and not a dent on it. I have been seriously looking at a pristine 93' Prelude VTEC with 116,000 on the odo. It's and old man teacher who has driven it to his school and back for the last eight years. He has every record for everything. I have talked with him twice and he started at $6,800.00 and I have jimmied him down to $6,200.00. I need to make up my mind quick though because he started parking it at the local Target this week and someone will snatch it up quick. I just can't decide if I like the interior of that model Prelude or not. But an H22, Yummy.......

Well as I said earlier OLDER civics (92-95) that are for SALE are hard to find, especially the kind I want. The reason the dude doesn't want to go down one the price is because my car's trade-in value is more than the price of the car. If I was to trade, the only thing I would be paying for would be the car I already have, but I'd be driving the Civic.

Well, after today we couldn't work anything out so it looks like I'm stuck with the slow Eclipse some more. Thanks anyways.

You are better off. Why not hook up the eclipse? Is it a piece? Boost that bad boy.
