Default Is it worth it?

1995 Honda Civic DX
2dr Coupe
137,000 Miles

$4900 (flexable)

I want to get rid of my Eclipse, but I also don't want to get jipped. I looked on KBB and what they're asking is about $500 under what they could be asking. What do you think?

It depends on condition! Sure one can be had for $2500, but it's going to be a beater. I think you can get an EX for that price though in decent condition. Want a coupe that's been well taken care of, and it'll cost you a few hundred more.

2500 is wholesale.. what the car is worth... i wouldn't pay retail for a car under 10g's

Just to give you something to compare to ... I got a 1993 EX Coupe with 72000 miles on it for $6000. It was well taken care of and the only problem I have had is the nice rust that all Civics get near the rear fender. I am also having to put up the brunt of repair parts and such that come with the 100000 mile threshold. If the car has had all of the necessary work done to it (tune up, new clutch, breaks, tires, no rust, alternator, starter, etc) then I say the price is right. If this work has not been done to the car then I wouldn't go higher than $3500, especially for a DX.

Well when I bought my EX coupe every one I looked at under $4500 was a piece! Maybe in Georgia they still sell for more than your area?

For that much? Nah... forget the Civic and get one of these

Hehe..
No seriously, that is a bit high... I don't think you should pay more than even $3000 for that.
