how to adjust valve's..
things wear over time, they just need to be adjusted. for the d15b7 you need a flathead and a 10mm wrench as well as feeler gauge .007-.009mm, .007mm intake .009 exhaust I believe is the spec.
I bought the tool from Snap-On. Makes life alot easier.

I love it, I can do all the valve adjustment so much quicker with it.

I've got a d15b7 (N/A) as well, and had some mixed results when I adjusted my valves. I got the valve cover/gasket off, cleaned, etc.; stuck a socket/extension through the front/driver-side wheel well, rotated the crankshaft counter-clockwise to bring cyl. 1 to TDC, and adjusted the corresponding intake and exhaust valves.
The next step, accoring to my Haynes manual (a.k.a. shit-book filled with lies) was to use the aligning marks on the flywheel to bring cyl. 2 to TDC.
...?
I scoured the engine bay for several hours over 2 days looking for this mysterious piece of metal with no success. I can't imagine a valve-adjustment job requires the removal of the clutch...? I've tried Helms, Haynes, Honda, and Google so far. Where is the alignment-mark "window" into the flywheel?

Some cars have a small "window" that is cut in the tranny, and you can see the flywheel. If someone ever changed out ur tranny to a diff one without a window, there wont be one.
I have seen the windows before, my friends H23 has one.

Thanks for the reply; I hadn't thought of a previous-owner tranny swap. In terms of aligning the other 3 cylinders for TDC, would it be a reasonable solution to take off the timing belt cover, and use the (theoretically) now visible cam gear for TDC reference?
i dont got that motor.. i got gs-R... 94' but that site that first guy gave me was perfect... i just was womdering if your motor does something when there off?
you'd know if your valve adjustment was grossly inaccurate; anything from loss of power to detonation, or any other sudden changes since the adjustment would be good indicators that something was wrong
