If you were swapping a B18B1 into an EG, but wanted to install a B16A/B16B Tranny, would you run the B18 Clutch or B16 Clutch?

 

i have an 95 honda del sol and wanted to install an h22 motor were do i start?

 

So droppin a b18b1 in to a 95 vx is a direct swap no need to change out or modify the wire harness

 

UHmm, i see that b16a just bolt on for 5 th generation. Seen to be eazy to swap but not sure.

 

I don't really understand.. Can someone explain it to me?

 

I've have a 98 civic LX with no motor and was wondering what the other D-series options I have are that would bolt right in using the same everything like transmission and what not. For example would a D15B8 fit? I could understand changing the intake manifold so OBDII wouldn't be affected, but I am broke and need to get this running asap for as cheap as possible and was wondering what my options are so I can find a cheap motor and throw it in. Thanks in advance!

 

I'm new to the forum. I've got a ek, and the motor threw a rod. I'm in the process of removing the old egine. My host tranny I know is good. The donor motor I purchased came with a tranny and removed it from the donor motor. My question is can I pull the blown motor without pulling the transmission out of the car replace it with "newer" motor?

 

A friend of mine has a 93 delsole obd1 and hes trying to swap a b18b in it. Just wondering how the wiring would end up. Its a obd1 with the ecu and the b18b is a obd2. Wat harness do i need for this swap?
