the guy i talked to said that it is an at ecu, couple people also said that the gears wouldnt switch if it was a manual is that true?

 

ok just got the distriubtor i got the td44-u, still the same problem so im gonna assume its the timing so im gonna double check to make sure its not off.

 

it was the distributor fix the lag problem just had the fireing order for the spark plugs wrong now i just have to add the vtec wires and see if that fix the shift lock.

 

Ok every thing is all dandy, i cant seem to find the knock sensor on the b16 anyone has a pic of the knock sensor on the engine? i accidently connected to the o2 sensor hopefully that didnt affect the ecu? lol and another thing happend i was driving on the freeway at about 110 then my frigin passenger axle came out of the transmission any clues im sure it was tight.

 

either wrong axle, or you didnt push it in until the snap ring snapped.

 

yikes!!! what exactly happens when an axle comes out at that speed....?

ok ill see if i can pop that one back in first and see whats going on, it was funny acuatly cuz i was going against a prelude then i lost power out of no where and when i looked at my speedometer it made a full 180 i was like omg wtf is going on lol so i pulled over to the curb.
