civic b16 question.

Default civic b16 question.

I just bought a motor online coming this monday gonna do a swap i have a 93 civic dx coupe auto i bought a b16a gen II with auto transmission it comes with wire ecu tran and half shafts ac wire harnest and pretty much everything else not sure about the mounts and the axles just in case will my current mounts and axels work on the motor? and is there anything special that i need to get everything setup?

........ehhhh..... i would get knew ones...... and radiator hose!

i just bought a b16 from crazx2lvr44 on this forum and it should be here soon too..... i'm gonna make a diy i think.

you need to get b series axles the ones from your civic arent going to work. As for mounts you might be able to use some from your stock motor. I take it its a JDM motor? If so you will have to use your stock harness and run vtec wires

any B series axles from the 94-01 integra or 99-00 civic Si axles will work...you can get them at any autoparts store.

autozone axles will work and they come with lifetime warranty

have fun paying like $600 for axles at Acura, Get them from autozone ive gotten axles there plenty of times and i havent had any problems

$381.00 per axle and then $280.00 for the half shaft do you really want to pay that much for axles?? you can get them at autozone for ALOT less
