Default Civic is dying while driving

Hi, I have a 2000 Honda Civic 2 EX. It randomly shuts off while driving or while not moving at all. It does this while warm or cold. The electrical part of the ignition has been changed and the fuel/air filters changed. The car continues to buck and jerk and completely cut off at times, and then restarts after a few seconds, carrying on like nothing happened. Sometimes it continues to jerk, or just won't start at all momentarily. Please help me before I pull all of my hair out. The dealer has done all checkups and tune-ups. It's got a clifford alarm and a Bazooka tube subwoofer. I don't know what else to do.

Thanks. If you read my post, it says I replaced the ignition switch already. My car didn't fall under the recall but I changed it anyway to be sure.

txhatch, would you know what relay would cause this?

id have to be there to understand exactly what your car is doing. but, if your car is stalling for no reason, you may want to check the cataltic converter. this may be way off, but i do know if the ceramic inside busts, it can clog up your exhaust causing your car to stall and sputter for no reason, and then drive normal again. is your car lowered, if so, have you bottemed out a few times were you may have shattered the ceramic?
just an idea.
though im not sure if that would happen with an after market exhaust because of the larger piping. hopefully that helps.

No, it's a stock car. The CAT was replaced about 3,000 miles ago, as the check engine light came on and gave an error code for the cat. Covered by warranty. Imagine someone that is learning how to drive a manual for the first time and they look like they are riding a bull. THat's what it's acting like. It's like driving your car and doing a house beat with your foot on the gas. Fuel pump checks ok when I looked at it. I can only think of a relay or a fuel pump. Help if you have any more suggestions. THanks.

It's a pretty violent buck when it does it.

well, i dont really have any others ideas. i guess id check everything out with the fuel line and such. also, i dont know if this even makes any sense at all, but you might want to check the cable on your gas pedal, it may be catching on something or something. i dont know, fresh out of ideas. sorry dude.
