It is an engine with tons of torque.

To settle the weight issue arguement, look here where they weigh a H, B, and D.

Thanks for the sites. I looked into the weight issue and the guy makes good arguments about the weight difference. I'll look into the first one as well.

The h series uses cables instead of rods for shift linkage. Alot heavier than a b series and more money to swap in. I would go with a b16b, its not in every other hatch and its got alot of power. so like 95 civic asked; what are you plans for this car. If your boosting then i would go with an ls motor. but if going all motor the best would be b16b. imo.

hhahahahahahahahahaha....you talk about stupid...the b16b is such a JDM bling motor....and if you actually read anything in this thread than your entire comment is void...and last time I checked the b16b to swap in is more expensive than the H swap including the HASport mounts to put the H in.

Wwhat i was saying is that it is more time consuming and takes more know how to put a h22 into an eg chassis then a b series. thats all.

If you want something that is less work than swapping an H22, you could do a B20, boost it, and then do a B16 or B18C1 head swap down the road.

Yeah the b20 is the cheappest but it is also the most expensive to build. I had one in my hatch and i blew it after 5 months and 15 lbs. I wanted to sleeve it and it was a shit load compared to other b series motors. I called darton to see how much sleeves would be and they said they didnt make them anymore because they had too many problems.
