Notice he said bang FOR BUCK. A B16B goes for nearly $4k, a B18C1 only about $2-3K. You might as well get a K-swap for $4k.

it all depends on perspective. If you want an oem motor that will last forever the b16b is much better than the b18c1.

It has the ported factory head, better camshafts, better intake manifold, awesome pistons, connecting rods that were tightened using a precision micrometer unlike the gsr engines, etc...

the ctr engine was more pampered during the buildup so there is less chance of failure.

But I agree, there are a lot better things to buy for 4k, Such as the K swap.. look at my sig
