How wouldn't it be harder? You have to buy custom mounts and do some cutting and drilling to get it to fit, so how is that comparable to just dropping in a B-series using OEM mounts? No, I haven't done an H-series swap. Have you?

I don't know which B-series you are comparing it to, but the B16 engine drivetrain weighs 85 lbs less than the H-series. I never said it was a big deal in difference, did I?
biased...no, I had a B swap and have done many B swaps...it is a great platform, but the H gets too much bad publicity from people who are mis-informed no offense....an H swap with the HASport mount kit is simple, and require no drilling or cutting...I had to hammer the frame rail a bit for the crank pulley to fit but no big deal....I would also like to see where you get this 85lb difference in weight between the H and B16a.

I feel lame arguing on the internet. I have and will probably never consider the swap, so I couldn't care less about the subject.

The only reason I never considered a H swap is because hasport wants a lot for some aluminium with polyurithane inserts.

Thanks for the help so far guys. I look into people with setups like b16a b18 and ofcourse h22a in a hatch. I am leaning towards h22a cause of my experience with h series and if they bolt in with those hasport motor mounts without too much problems I can't argue. I just don't like the tranny .
