I believe in the early '90s (after they stopped using the late '80s Camaros), they had Dodge Daytona Irocs. I don't think it was for very long though, and they switched back to firebirds. They never sold an Iroc edition firebird to the public though.

Yea, there's actually one parked by my gf's house, Yellow thing with pink lettering "OFFICIAL INDY PACE CAR". Always fighting me for spots :eh:

 

i dunno if this helps, but at the junkyard yesterday, while i was looking for turbo parts, a 2000 civic si in blue came in on a flatbed. stripped completely. no motor, no interior, donuts for tires, the suspension was taken. looked like a theft recovery for sure because every usuable part, or modded part was GONE. i live in ct and i dunno if the thieves stripped it and dumped it, but ya never know. maybe call the junkyard and ask if they have the vin.

we should start a stolen car list by vin of cars that have gone missing in case someone happens upon them.

is there any way to get the "stolen car" status added on a carfax report?
