Default bad day turns GREAT!!!

Well we have probably the worst day of rain in my life...major flooding!! So i had to go to work and on my way home i went around the corner to my apartments and drove threw a huge puddle atleast a foot and a half deep...i drove through kinda hard cuz my car was boggn turns out it was boggn because i sucked water into my wai on my car...bah i pull over and the **** wont start...i call my shop friend and he says "sounds like u hydrolocked" im like ****!!! i tow the car down to my friends shop and sure enough.. im ****ed motor is history...i call my ins. and tell them what happend...turns out they are going to cover the damage of a 3500$ minus my 500$ deductable and get me a rental car...thats 3k to get a b16....ill know more tomorrow but my shop friend is going to do the work...so im gettn a b16 fo freee haha guess it wasnt such a bad day after all....

it was a no fault accident just like being in a accident its not like my car just broke...it was a certain thing that happend thats why they will cover it...

i didnt want to go the b16 route buts its my only option for the amount they are covering for damage...i guess ill be happy and ill get a b18 block on the side and start builing it for turbo...

why would insurance cover you when you hydrolocked your engine due to your CAI?

wai read...and i dont know...i played dumb and said it was on the car when i bought it 7 weeks ago...which it was
