i had a grounding kit + stabalizer on my gsr and ls and they definetely smooth out idle and give you bit more response.. good investment, however i dont think thats your problem because the car should run fine without a voltage stabalizer.

i would reccomend starting with changing your fuel filter, spark plugs, etc.. all the regular tuneup/maintenence stuff that might have been neglected?

a good friend of mine adam (SICK BOY) i told him what my car was doing and the first thing he said was FUEL FILTER i got a new fuel filter and i swear m car runs like its a new car....b4 it wouldnt pull in any gear except 1st now it pulls strong in 1st 2nd and 3rd.....i can pass other cars! lol well problem solved
