I don't doubt that at all, but there must be some other issue, right?

Is the oil starvation issue also a myth? (I assume you have the swap done, b16aEGcivic? not being a smartass, just wondering how you knew. Thanks.)

h-series weighs something like 38 lbs more than b-series, which, coincidentally, is the exact weight of all your a/c crap. So, swap in an H-series, ditch the a/c, and your car still weighs the same:thumbup:

Back to the topic, H-series are more complicated to put in, require more aftermarket parts (mounts, axles, etc), and aren't as pletiful as B-series. That pretty much sums it up.

yes I have done one. All the horror stories you hear are from stupid assholes who use 10 dollar place racing mounts or some other ebay garbage....I will ONLY work with HASport mounts for the H22A swap, and they are fuckin fantastic.

The H swap has gotten a bad wrap over the years because, yes it is harder than the B series...but hell..wiping your own ass is harder than putting a B series into a civic

wow, wasn't aware of that.

Anybody clear up the oil-starvation myth? Something about because of the way the engine is mounted in the engine bay of the Civic, it starves the engine and offsets handling as I have heard/read.

Thanks!

HAHA, funny stuff.

So the Hasport kit will eliminate the bad motor-mounting myth I have heard over and over? The whole, 'the h-series doesn't sit right in a civic bay' story?

correct....pricey yes...but damn they are nice....they def. fall into the "you get what you pay for" catagory....I have actually never done a swap with stock mounts...My friends all have shelled out the extra cash for the HASports after driving my car or other friends cars that have them.

Awesome, good news. Amazing what nasty myths and smacktalk will come form people who won't pay for Hasport mounts!

have some baffles added to the oil pan and you dont have to worry about oil starvation.
