if your c/f hood lasts you a couple years then it did fine..i dont think i know anyone that has had one more than 2 years...but if mine lasts me that long and it looks good then i got my money worth...if it looks like crap after that..i will invest in another one.

Well, the haziness that I was talking about previously was eliminated using the 3 step system by Meguiars (mainly step 1 and 3). But what really bothers me the most is the waviness that wasn't there before. I think it's due to the heat of the car that's making the subtle waviness in the hood.

ove had a FI hood in the past and i would have to say that they are good stuff. they are really strong, they also come with mouting holes for the stock hood latches. you should check out there site and see what they are all about. they are also lighter than vis. about fitment it wasnt too bad for me. and mine did have a clear coat on it and the hood never showed signes of waves fading etc.

I have a VIS hood and have sold many of them. I really like the product. I am starting a group buy on then on Sportsnimports.com in the import discussion area.
