its 90 evaporative emission control system leak detected.

i've had this problem before, my parents took it to the honda dealer when the cel went on and its juss a faulty sensor and inaccurate fuel overflow tank taht they charge 300 plus to fix.

its nothin harmful for the engine imo, so i juss reset the comp.

i was doin this by myself and reachin like crazy to keep the paperclip in with one hand and turn the iginition on with the other. . . .i could barely see the cel and once i thought it read a 72 (#2 cylinder misfire) i got scared ass phuck! but after a checkin again i was sure it was 9 long flashes ::whew::

thanks han members, im definitely sportin the han stickers on my whip from now on yo!

I just got a CEL and tried to check it out. When i opened up my kick panel the little blue clip with 2 wires was just hanging there...and my green rubber holder was just laying behind the kick panel. Does this blue clip normally have to be plugged in anywhere or just dangling.

Also when i stuck the paperclip in the blue clip the check engine light came on but didn't blink at all. Any ideas on this?

if you do have the engine light on and your jumping the codes sometimes it has a fault code and its just nothing.. mine does it sometimes and i don't know why but when i jump the wires its just stays lighted up... try resetting your ecu by unplugging your battery wires and see if it comes back on again
