Default another check engine light question . .sorry

ok i found the connector that you're s'pose to stick the paperclip in, but there are already two wires coming out of it. . . . do i just pull these wires out and stick the paperclip in?

are the two wires connected, if not, try touching them together and running the diagnostic tests

turn your key to the II mark but not igniting the ignition.

that blue connector is connected to a green thing in my car, i think i have to take it out and thats the side i put the paperclip in. but its hard under the tight spaces under the car. im gonna try again tomm.

what year is your car? on my 5th gen, there is nothing plugged into the blue 2 pin plug. it just sits there behind the kick panel.

i have a 96 civic ex and mine is a brown connector and it rest in a green housing plastic case...

so maybe thats what your talking about is the case that it is stored in and there is like a another connector in the case also..

if so then its the two wire one and it should pull right out

i also have a 92 civic vx hatch and its the same way

i just re read one of your posting and saw you said it was in that green thing...

yea just pull it out of there.... it might be hard to get it out but it will come out

yea i think im spose to pull it out but its hard to get a hold of, and i dont wanna pull it by the wires cuz it might pull our or sumthin bad, i'm trying it right now

yea i have a 98 and its in a green rubber holder of some sort
