as to the water in the engine....can you think of how that could have happened while sitting? flood conditions maybe? if it happened while driving, you would have seized

i have not checked the injectors, are they easy to inspect? also, with things like injectors, i doubt it could be all 4 of them at once, i understand that even if 1 was clogged, the car would still start on 3 cylinders?

been a long time(and i don't remember when i did this specifically), but they should spray while out of the rail from what i remember, when you try to start....be sure to hold away w/ a rag so you dont get it in the face.

Well, it was raining exteremely heavy that day, heavier then i can ever remember, and the water was almost up to the doors. But the whole time the car was parked, i only drove it in the afternoon after the rain stopped, and there was no more water on the street. Drove for 2 miles, parked for 15 minutes, came back and it wouldnt start. So i doubt if it was water.

But about 3 days before the incident, I started the car, and even though it started, it was hesitating and shaking. after 2 retries it went back to normal.

hmm. how much of a timeframe in this whole ordeal?
Also, how much gas is in the car?

Might be moisture in the fuel lines, or maybe no gas(gotta throw the idiot card b/c i've had some no shit problems before )

3/4 tank... drove it about 3 hours after the rain was over, drove it for 2 miles in city, so maybe 10 minutes?
