LS-VTEC turbo is somewhat pointless unless you build EVERYTHING up.

if you're going to boost something, boost a B18B. lower the compression and build the LS motor a bit and it'll handle much more boost than the LS-VTEC and make more power.

a B18B turbo will be less apt to break than an LS-VTEC. you'll also have a lot of tuning to do, and you'll need to lower compression quite a bit and build it more.

ok let me break it down. whats faster? ls vtec (built properly), gsr, or b18b.

from what ive heard ls vtec is. i think you might be confused about me turboing it. it wont be for many years from now. by then i will probly build the motor for turboing, but now im looking for the faster motor.

in that case, an LS-VTEC would be faster properly built. why worry about a swap now though? money burning a hole in your pocket or did you blow something up?

i have a d16z6 and its to slow for me. my other car just got totaled and now i have the money to get a motor. im married so i will probly never get this kind of money all at once to put into my car so the motor is the best bet. i would do body work, but i can do that more slowly and a little at a time. a motor is pretty much one big payment. ya get me.
