Default Aftermarket mufflers?

My muffler blew a hole and now it sounds pretty crappy. I was wondering if anybody here was running an aftermarket muffler that was similar to the stock noise levels but with improved airflow?

Apex'i WS2
Considered oem replacement...about 2.25 pipes....better sound...and imo actually sounds quieter than stock. Very happy with it. :yay:

Modacar.com they give a HAN discount and oddly enough I wasn't charged until the day the system arrived.

This is a full cat-back system with resonator BTW.

Such a thing doesn't exist. A muffler that is welded on to stock pipes and is quiet as a stock muffler is in no way going to out perform a stock muffler. Power gains out of a complete aftermarket exhaust system are pretty small, gains from just a muffler are unnoticable at best.

i'd have to completely agree. which is why i don't understand the point to just buy an aftermarket muffler, if you're not gunna do the whole exhaust.
