Default Replacing Apexi ws mufflers?

I was thinking about getting 2 universal mufflers to put on my car, i like the apexi but it isn't that loud, i like it to be loud, should there be a problem taking off the orig. mufflers and putting 2 "bomb" mufflers in their place? I am just curious, I don't think I will do this anytime soon but would like to know.

just wondering, but why do you want your exhaust to be loud? doesn't it get annoying after a while...i know i got annoyed when i had it on my old prelude...especially going constant on the freeway at high speeds for hours....IMO, i'd say stick with the ws, i would love to get the ws, but to each his own...

You will get sick of it after 1 week! Trust me. I've been through this shit with loud exhaust. There were days that I wish I could enjoy some quiet time. I'd get out of the car and kick the damn thing because it is so loud. I had a muffler shop cut off those dual Focuz mufflers years back and sold them on EBay. You should feel blessed that The Apex'i WS mufflers are quiet.

Does anyone use silencers? I have the Arospeed Tunable bomb mufflers, they are loud but once I slip the silencers in it cuts the sound by more than half. I agree that the sound does get irratating!

i have 2 obx n1 styles...with custom 2.5 piping...
sounds very nice...not raspy/buzzy, but just nice and deep...
sound is so orgasmic...lol

well, but after a while, the loudness does get to you after a while...i'm thinking about going 2 magnaflows with straight dual tips...if you're interested, i'll sell mine...let me know!

funny thing is that i also used to have apex'i RS (old WS)...
i do like current setup 10000x better than RS though...RS was wayyy too quiet...don't even have more aggressive tone...just stock sounding, big can of muffler...i mean, quiet is good, but only to certain extent...you do need occasional vroom here and there...
