rods?pistons?what should be changed first man?i have changed my...single ovehead camshaft...only that...
the store of import technologies where i will buy the kit told me this
The manifold is guaranteed to fit. The manifold has been bolted up to many versions of the d series motor including a d16v1 which is in a project civic a friend has brought back from europe. The ecu basicly is programmed to match any d series motor and like every other ecu it will require a learning process which allows the ecu to run correctly with the motor. All instructions are included in the sale so installing this kit will be a breeze. Thanks
what does he mean by telling learning process?

it means that the ecu is going to check all your sensors and everything and set it according to everything that's going on in your engine.

d16v1? Hmmm weird. Is it non-vtec? Which way does the motor spin? Is it like earlier gen civics made in the 90's?

Yeah that is a serious issue with the D series enginges, toothpick rods. They can handle boost, just not much whatsoever.
