Default DSM injectors with turbo civic

I have heard people running stock DSM 450cc injectrs with thier turbo setups on civics. Anyone got any more info on this? Do they fit, or is modification needed to make then fit? Also would I be running to rich with 450cc injectors@ 7psi with the GReddy kit, FMU, intank fuel pump, missing link, and FPR?

Yeah. Slight problem though. Your injectors are saturated, theirs are peak and hold. What that means is that you will need a resistor box to make the injectors work properly.

The resistor packs can be found on 90-95 Prelude and Accord; 89-91 JDM B16A, or you can build one yourself.

You need to switch from the ~2 ohms impedence of peak and hold to 8-10 ohms saturated.

The resistor pack is even listed in that mod list.

Yeah i know about the saturated vs peak and hold, i have to get the resinator box and such, I also have to get the clips, but I think i can get those from any parts store.

What about 310cc from older prelude vtecs? I heard a few guys running those, how good would they work?

Exact same. They're actually 345.

Automatic turbo DSM injectors would work, and are readily and cheaply available. (All the auto guys upgrade to the 450s) They flow 350ccs.

If you do end up purchasing some older injectors, I'd recommend sending them in to RC and having them cleaned and flowmatched. Only costs $25 per injector.

Hmmmmm... I thought dsm injectors were 440's and you could use the resistor boxes out of the ef civic's? Also, I've held the two next to each other and it looked as if the dsm injector was shorter than the honda one.

So you are saying the early prelude vtec injectors are not saturated? They would need the same setup as the dsm injectors? What size injectors come stock with my civic?

you need the resistor box... yes you will run way rich if you dont have anything to control the fuel pressure... you can use the VAFC to control this.. also, if you have OBD-1 civic, the DSM injector will plug in, if you have the OBD 2 then you need to replace your injector plugs... i was gonna go this route but decided to save up more money and go for the standalone... prolly AEM EMS....
