Cool, i can watch you set my timing so i know how to do it in the future. Have to promise not to laugh at my ugly POS when I come over though. :ugh:

Well, if he's now doing the timing belt too, I'd say do the tensioner and water pump too. Heck, if he has to take the timing belt off, might as well do the head, intake, and exhaust gaskets as well. h: :wiggle:

and since he has the intake manifold gasket off he should go ahead and replace the throttle body gasket as well LOL

Good god.....i'm pretty sure the timing belt has been changed. Belt looks brand new like it hasn't been on very long.

Sounds good. If I were you, I would try to find the number of the previous owner if you can find it, call him and make sure he changed it. A lot of people tend to sell their car at about 90k so they won't have to deal with it.

MODS---> can we make a sticky that references to any DIY tune up/maintenance threads? such as any fluid flushing, brakes, rotors, engine maintenance stuff etc.

i think it would help a lot of people out... me included :rick:
