It's not 'extra', it's different. The fitting is bigger. Take a look:

The first one is the Civic MC, the second and third are the GSR MC. The third one shows the fitting connection that is larger than the others.

I will be getting some 5th gen civic EX sedan cables because the EH8 had discs (some if not all). I figure that would be a better candidate for a good fit considering it will undoubetly fit the car, my concern is whether or not it will fit the discs. Thoughts?

I didn't get around to doing the intake, but I think I'm going to take it to a local shop to have it polished. h:

It's really going to mess up my chage pipe positioning too so I'm a little hesitant...
Yea ive heard the ex cables or ones from an 93-95 si hatch will work. Ive been checking local yards for the ex cables but havent had any luck. Im pretty sure they fit the discs since from my research the rear discs on the hatch and sedan are the same as the integra.

Yes, DO IT! Those things SUCKED and they're in the worst place. Having a B18 in there makes it hard too...

If I could do it all over again, I would have taken my intake manifold off. Having it in the way for just about everything made it really annoying.

I would also recommend that you get one of those wrenches that are almost a box end, but have a little break in them specifically made for brake line fittings - a 10mm. That will be a huge help!

awesome stuff.

that is a lot of work also.

I take it you put on the whole rear trailing arm?

If so get an alignment asap.

You know I have to nitpick.

Put some poly trailing arms bushings in?

Brake setup sounds good. I never put the 1" MC in myself, but I'm sure the pedal feel will be phenomenal.

Get the Skunk2 manifold opened up to 68 mm, and get a bigger tb. That shit will really open up your motor. It did on mine, and it's was NA. On your turbo; shit, good hp increases i say.

Sounds like you've got everything wrapped up. Go ahead and sell it, and buy a project mr2 with me

wow very nice josh. i myself is gonna tackle a similar job soon and it consist of:

-integra full disc brakes all round
-brembo crossdrilled/slotted rotors
-aem front and rear pads
-earls steel braided lines
-prothane poly trailing arm bushings
-integra rs non abs mc w/ booster

i went the extra mile and clean the trailing arms and front spindles and painted them high heat gloss black, and a wire brush to the calipers with a high heat clear coat, leaving them a shiny polish look.

I did put on the whole trailing arm. I have the full hyperflex kit, but didn't see the trailing arm bushing in there. Their instruction set sucks though...

I'll check into doing that intake like that. I'm probably going to wait until I build the new block to put the intake on there. It's going to be so sick!

I actually JUST had an alignment done and I marked where everything was so I put it back on the exact same. h:

You know I can't sell this thing. I still have so much to do.
Thanks for the invite though!!! hahah

Outxider: thanks man!
I actually did a lot of research before I bought my rotors and I'd have to tell you not to get the x-drilled/slotted rotors. I took off my Brembo x-drilled/slotted rotors while doing this job and the drills were starting to crack after only about 15k miles.

I pained all of my calipers and brackets, but didn't get a chance to clean up the trailing arms like you mentioned. I'm usually very anal about that stuff, but I got to the point on this job where it was time for it to be done. :chuckles:

Let me know if you run into anything that you need some tips on.
