Storing an engine
Anbody have any good ideas on how to store an engine for a few months? I just recently bought a B18C1
and i need to store it in my garage until i have time to put it in my car. It wont be any time before May or June. Any reccommendations?

Usually when they are shipped they are just wrapped in a plastic thin cover.
you can get an engine cover that is sealed to help keep it in the state it was when first stored.
if it's only a few months you shouldn't have to worry about anything.
as long as it's covered.
i had mine in the backyard, i just had it well covered to keep rain away.

If your keeping it inside I wouldn't worry about it for a just a couple months. Storing it outside is a lot worse, as the temperature swings from daytime to nightime temps it will build up moisture inside. So you'd want to keep it well lubricated. Some people fill the engine completly with oil to keep the valvetrain from rusting.
