what is it?

something to do with my idling control system failure

for some reason, my car starts up crap now. I was told it could cause from my whole distributor unit and the sensors in it. could that cause the problem, and what is code 14?

IACV stands for idle air control valve......it controls your idle..helps smooth it out by sensing the engine tempurature through coolant lines and uses a regulator to let more or less air in to help stabalize at idle........anybody correct me if I am wrong.
