when I need to pass someone I usually put in d3. do others do this or should I not do this?

no, you don't need to do that. If you floor it, the car will downshift on its own. No need to mess with the gears.

ill do that but only if im going uphill and the person is pissing me off which happens alot around here. but usually ill punch it first then if i want a little more vroom ill put it in D3

I dont know if anyone else does this but when racing I go D3 then 2 and ride the RPM'sall the way up and then shift back up to D3 and then D4 Idont really know if it makes a difference or not but it sure does feel different from power braking in just D4

ive seen people do that in my car but im too scared to do it when im driving myself. but they wont raise up the RPM, they will just shift it like a manuel. i always get scared that thier gonna break my car.

well let me tell you all the right way of shifting since most of u dont know what you talking about ok ......

this is how i shift

go to 1st and when you hit redline shift to 2nd then do the same for 3rd, 4th,and finally if u want to shift to 5th....ohhh.... wait you all were talking about automatics LOL just step on it , thats all you need to do ,at least till it breaks

ps: i hope u all know i was j/k and was bored
