yup, your D-series alt. wont work.. You'll need a P75 ecu to run it. I've got one, if you want it.

:edit: you beat me to it. I'll send you PM.

locally, they wanted ~$2500 for the changeover, and thats with an ls tranny in the upper 70s but a 30k '01 crv engine....

all the base crv engines were sitting around a grand, but again, the ones I was looking at were 99+, so I guess it could be worth it....

heh, they had an rsx engine, but with an auto :happysad: and about $5000, give or take.

over in houston, a full gsr changeover for $3500, clean at that....

no swap this time around....

not unless I can find a damn good deal on a tranny and all the shit needed to do the swap.... oh well.

Honestly, I think thats about the best deal you'll find. Thats what sohfast quoted me for just the engine and transmission (shipped a couple thousand miles). If I were you, (and if it was indeed a "full swap" with all the parts you really need) I'd go for it. Then just sell the transmission, buy another one, and you're set. Or heck, just use the LS one if you want. Honestly, for a full swap, how much were you expecting to pay? That may be a little pricey, but not totally unreasonable. Youre definitlely not gonna find a place that'll give you everything for under $2300, I guarantee it.

i love my b20 motor,..and she loves me,..well not really,..she loves boost but we wont get into that right now,...anywys,..i think a complete b20 changeover can be had for alot cheaper than 2400,..you can get a b20b motor,..put in Z pistons,...and have all the parts to get the motor running cheaper than 2400

eh, I just wasn't sure what figures I'd be looking at. I figured maybe I could get the two for a grand, plus everything else, but its not the case.

besides, shops will install the b20 for $2500 these "changeovers" I'm talking about is parts-only....
