If you find a reliable source let me know.
SA is a fairly large city, with a population who sucks at driving :chuckles:

import yards here usually have shit. I just want to know what I'm talking about before I go talk to them.....

I agree with b16a, If you cannot find the b20, just go ahead and find a b18a/b. They are perfect for boost. I got to ride in a local turbo ls hatch, he was at 6 psi and it was very fun.

Thing about it, some people would pay that kind of money for a low mileage tranny.

Do you have any plans to boost whatever engine you get?

if you get a USDM B20Z, the intake manifold *should* fit. With a JDM motor, it definitely will not. By "should" I mean i've seen a few sites that say it does, but I've never seen it in person or a photograph. If you remove the resonation chamber on the B20Z and block it off, the stock manifold will definitely fit. Otherwise, LS is the most cost effective option, and creates a pretty desirable powerband.

As for the other stuff, you'll need a clutch and flywheel, since most (if not all  CRVs are auto) also the stock CRV alternator wont fit right, so an LS one will do the trick. Aside from that, its all basic B-series swap stuff.

I take it d-series alt.'s won't swap over to b's?
