I dont think they will because it's violating emissions laws. You're replacing the cat with a test pipe - making the vehicle no longer street legal.

I know when I Was working with a swap like that, the header was too short to reach. Make an extension, keep the cat, you're done.

oh I was thinking you meant an extension from the header to the exhaust bypassing the cat

does cat ever need to get replace? the one is on now is pretty freaking old and small, it have 160k miles on it too.

hmmm pretty tought decision
spend $20-50 :thinking: for them to make a extensions and still have an old rusty restricted cat

or

spend 100-220 for a new better flowing cat? but the question is would a gsr cat fill in the gap between the gsr header and the skunk2 cat back exhaust?

nope, should be specific to the chassis of the car. I have a GSR header and it bolted straight up to my pipe.
