i wouldnt boost w/ LSvtec...with just an LS yeah.

so is it because boosting of any kind with an Vtec head is bad? cuz i think vtec head tends to have higher compression, which in boosting you want a head with lower compression, right?

correct...a good low compression engine is the LS..on a high compression engine too much boost will be bad, an LS/vtec compared to a gsr or type r i dont know the specs but it torques like a mo fo.

humm... so i wonder... what about a GS sedan engine vs. an LS engine? wouldn't the sedan have more torque?

well, if i do go the route of boosting on my D16Y8, then i'll probably boost 5psi... just to be safe... but i wonder how much hp would i get from it...???
