the engines from the 6th gen are all so similar the cop would have to have a vin book with him and check vins to be sure. if you do the speed limit its not a problem

that's true... speed limit... but honestly... after a swap... i doubt if i can keep the speed limit... even on my D16Y8... i try to drive full throttle every now and then... u know... gotta let the little engine breathe~

hehe...you havent been to california.

they'll site you and send you to a referee....no matter how stock or how legal your engine looks. if you drive an import...and they have suspicion....you are fuked.

they dont bother to look for VIN's...they let the ref do that.

thats why im not moving to cali..down here, cops dont check engines only if your at the races. if it a legal purchace you just some them your papers for it and if you dont have them you have to go to court to prove its yours legally, if not your fawked. jacked engines are big down here. also you cant drag race at the track on race days.

cool... that would be a lot of money... wouldn't it? i've thought about getting the type r engine before and make mine to be like JDM civic... but since it's a coupe... it'll never be jdm... oh well... i just want a reliable engine to boost with and fast... hehe :naughty:
