Default Seems expensive...

I got a quote for $800-$1000 for a auto-manual swap.. All I have to do is give the shop the car, wait, and they give me it back with a manual.. write them a check. Seems like a lot of money, but its something ive been wanting for a long time and have no place to work on my car.

depending on whatyou've done to your car, just sell it and buy a new, manual one...

that is a very steep price for th auto-manual conversion.

Does that include the manual transmission and all the parts? Also, do you get your auto tranny back? If so, that's one hell of a deal!! At least for me it would be.

thats everything, swap, parts and all...

selling the car: problem though, its a dx... and there are thousands of civics around here that are all ex's that are clean and nice and stock.. for like nothing. So, if i sold my car.. I might be able to get $3k-$4k at most for it. That would leave me with at most $5700 to buy a new car and mod it.

Yes it is a good price. Shops around my way are trying to charge 600-900$ on labor alone.
