yeah. Kinda....

my amp power-wire had some electric tape over where it went through the firewall. I pulled it off, and noticed it kinda shreaded up.

I cut that section out, and it pretty much fixed it.

Well, my battery doesn't totally drain, anyways. It gets damn close after 8-10 hours (almost drained, you can tell, but it still cranks). Its weird, but I don't need to jump it anymore :dunno:

my guess is either I've jumped the new battery too much already (its a cheap one), or the CCA is pretty low. Its not cold here, but its cold for the region (40-60degree's in the morning).

try borrowing a battery that u know is good from another vehicle. if it still drains you know it will be the car, otherwise you can pretty well be sure that it is the battery.

Sounds like it's time to redo your stereo wiring COMPLETELY. Draining a battery down to the minimum every day can end up in a exploded battery with warped plates. The easiest way to tell if you have a strong parasitic draw is to buy a test light (pick with the bulb in the handle), disconnect your positive or negative battery cable and connect the test light between the cable and battery post. The more parasitic draw you have, the more it will light up to provide the electronic devices with power. You can take fuses out until it goes out and you'll then know EXACTLY what's taking all the power.
