I really wanna know a lot about that. A good idea would be to break out the multimeter and test what kind of voltage goes to the line with the lights on. That way, you'll know how many LEDs you can wire in a series. Also, use voltage regulators to step down the voltage.

You're implying that I have a voltmeter of any kind? I didn't fry my test cluster by feeding it too much power, I fried it by slipping the wire onto the wrong pin by accident. The smoke told me what I had done.
