I'm out of this thread... let you goverment officials travel in fucking commercial. I'd love to see some american official flying to afghanistan on Air Arabia or Pakistan Airline. That makes so much more sense. Oh wait... those airline dont fly from the USA. ok so fly with Emirates to Dubai then a flight to Kabul.
Let them keep a fleet of aging and costly plane. You guys are just as close minded as CEO that keep trying to not spend and cut jobs but are too close minded to realize that their ways are actually more costly.
And Jesse you are actually the only one that made sense in this thread. I have over looked the whole asking for 4 planes but congress is bringing in 8. That part I did not see/understand. But still in the long run it will probably be cheaper. Investing now to save later is a hard thing to agree on when NOW is when the times are rough. But the goverment not being a private company it cannot really go under. It's economie can suffer if it's not carefull so i can see what you are pointing out.
