Tell me about it! Assholes... I think the very first thing we should do is cut the fat off ALL politicians paychecks and stop paying such absurd amounts of money for jets, cars, mansions and totally unnecesary things like that.

what is the maintenance cost of the current fleet? and do you really want your high ranking officials to travel commercial flights?

So you guys want you high ranking officials to go around in commercial flights... yet you dont want your president to bow as it is a sign an inferiority. You guys dont make any sense. It is totally normal for a countries high ranking officials to travel in private planes. Schedules restriction, flight routes, security, confidentiality, productivity, and social standing (as opposed to other government officials) are all good reasons for the private fleet.

You're all anti socialist yet you want your most important government officials to travel like commoners

We don't need every senator and representitive to fly on a souped up gulfstream jet.

Maybe if they flew commercial, they would actually get to hear their voters.

I can see maybe 1 or 2 base model small jets.

not 8 high end gulfstreams.

These people are our representitives, they are not royalty.
