TSX SI? Why have I not heard about this through all the normal channels? The Civic SI is coming out but I dont want a civic.

Anyway...
Yes, an "Si." I'm trying to confirm if this is the "A-spec." I'll keep you posted.
Any yes, you were right about the weights too. I didn't realize the IS and the TSX were SO close in weight. For whatever reason, I had it in my mind that the TSX was at least a little lighter... I definitely dig the IS300.

Edit: it makes no sense for Honda to put 'Si' on anything other than a Civic, nor does it make any sense for a luxury marque to sell a 'stripped down' version of a luxury car.

Running a search in Google on "Acura TSX Si" returns this:

I'm still waiting to see if this other guy can confirm what he's telling me.
And no, the A-spec really doesn't have any performance upgrades other than a new higher flowing dual-outlet exhaust.
And I can see that if they wanted to play up the racing successes (which the TSX is definitely having), that they might want to try and offer a stripped down version. Though I might add that "stripped down luxury" is an oxymoron I should think.

It was/is NOT a TSX Si after all. The guy was just saying, as an option, that there is will be a Civic Si 4-dr sedan coming in the fall.

I can't imagine this one being any better than the coupe. I didn't like it.
So, we're back to where we were in the conversation.
I dig both the IS and the TSX; but I'm hearing that neither would be an ideal choice for AutoX. <argh....>
I'm realy liking the dark (graphite) gray or whatever they are calling it.
