Default EP3/DC5 chassis

Any first hand feedback on how these cars seem to be doing.
Any general impressions are welcomed. I'm generally referring to stock/unmodified classes.

I'm not TOO interested if they ended up in class where they are/are not competitive, but if that's what your insight are, that's fine.

I guess they switched to MacPherson struts up front. A change over previous DC/E(F,G,H,J) configurations....

Visually, they seem like they would have a higher center of gravity, I believe they have 16in rims stock.

Since no-one on here knows anything about the dc5/ep3 chassis, I thought maybe we'd find this interesting:

I don't track my EP3; however, I have an observation based on enthusiastic driving of both my EP3 and DC2 ITR.

DC2 ITR has revalved Koni Yellow and GC coilover, 400# Front/500# Rear.

EP3 has Mugen Sport Suspension, heavy springs in the rear.

My rather amateurish observation is that I am more comfortable hitting a hard bump like a gater w/the DC2 suspension. I seem to have an instinctive feel for where the car's going to be headed when it comes down, and I don't have that comforting feeling w/the EP3.

For whatever that's worth, which isn't much.

I was looking at the mugen sport suspension, and they relocate the steering arm mounts apparently. In the effort to reduce "bump steer", which If I'm not mistaken is NOT a steering problem from hitting a bump? yes/no?

Mugen also has some front LCAs, I wonder if they addressed the issue of that bushing/bearing presented in the H-T post.
