Problem with new Azenis'
The problem with A032Rs is that: 1) not legal for STS/STX and 2) take too long to heat up for an autocross. It was my 3rd or 4th runs when these tires got up to temperature. And we only get 4 runs

In the 205/50/15 size..the Azenis have about a 3/4" per tire wider contact patch than the Kumho Ecsta Supras do...and mixed with a very sticky rubber compund for a non R-Compund tire, means good traction on the course and great traction for daily driving. I saw the Azenis in action this past weekend..great tire for the money.

3/4"!!!! crap that's 20mm. so the 205/50/15 is more like 225/50/15?
that doesn't sound right. also contact patches are oval. so you can't say it's 3/4" wider contact patch. contact patch is just that the surface area of the tire that is on contact with the road.

I have had the azenis on my ITR for about 3 weeks now and :jawdrop: OMG, compaired to the 010's they are even stickier and for $74 a tire 200 tread wear sheeeeeit, have not had any problems yet, they do rub a tad bit at lock to lock turn in but not bad enough to care..I would definitly recommend the tire. If you don'nt want an R compound tire I think the azenis is the closest? anyway I don't think you can go wrong w/em imo ....

Sounds goofy, serious tread
