the home piss tests dont work worth shit.. my friend smoked one morning, went to school, he got home, his mom gave it to him and he passed (he smoked every day before taht too)
just go to the local smoke shop.. get the detox shit and take it before the test (whatever it says on the bottle). but just to be safe, id also drink cranberry juice and orange juice and water and shit till then.

There's a reason why they don't want people who smoke it up to work for them.

Not to be rude, but you kinda cost yourself the job.

I've had jobs where they tested for, where you could be hammered (and I often was) on the clock, stoned or "other" and still get everything done.
And I've had jobs that involved a whole lot of responsibility and care (ever drive a truck with $200,000 worth of windows in the back, up narrow, snowy mountain driveways? :nervous: ) where they didn't test.
But the fact that you smoke has no effect, in itself, on your ability to do any job (unless that job is to pass pee tests for a living :loco: ). There are some people who smoke regularly and have no problem with complex tasks, major responsibilities, etc. And there are stone cold sober morons. In fact one of my good buddies has some minor mental problems, and smoking is what clears his head and allows him to concentrate, and do well at work.
It all depends...
I think it's more of the concept of it: where do you get them, who you're involved with, why you even need to do it in the first place. I agree, sometimes people DO perform the same or a little better, but this isn't something somebody themselves should diagnose. If they're stressed out, there are better coping skills. If you really want a straight answer my dad works in human resources and hires are fires a lot of people.
Habitual drug use doesn't usually come with an elite crowd, unless you're a rich kid in high school. I mean no offense with what I say.

We have people take piss tests when they apply. If you don't go = you fail.......... if you smoke = you fail. One time I had this guy test + for cocaine, I called him and told him he failed and that he didn't have to come and ask for the job. His response was very laid back. He was like ok, whatever.
I had a friend come to apply and take the test. I told her about the test and she got the stuff from GNC and she passed. I guess it works.

If I were hiring, I would prefer to hire a sober guy over a marijuana + guy, sure. But thats different from saying that the drug has a direct correlation to work performance. Now, if it were coke or anything hard, that would be a totally different story. I just don't think weed is as big a deal as people make it out to be. I'd be more concerned hiring an alcoholic than a pothead for sure. That comes from plenty of experience with working with both.
i hope you fail...some idiot at work was under the influence of some kind of substance, ended up causing an accident that could have seriously hurt him and some of the guys he was working with. if you you were willing to jeopardize a possible job by smokin' even though you knew you'd be tested, then you didn't want it bad enough. call me what you want-flame away i don't care.

Well, here in Boulder, just about everyone smokes pot or has smoked pot at some point, from the highschool kids to the rich yuppies, business owners etc... Thats just the demographic of a spiritual haven (as many people see it) like boulder. So you can't really say anything about someone's lifestyle/crowd in that respect, at least not here.
