The DeLaHoya Travesty!!!
I cant believe it happened to him again. Oscar won that fight hands down.
For the judges not to even give him a draw, was appalling. I'm glad Foreman got ghetto and mentioned HBO and conspiracy in the same sentence.:madfawk:

damn straight De La Hoya won that fight
Foreman mentioned that the judges don't see CompuBox #'s
:madfawk:
he only threw like 200 more punches, landed 2x's as many and connect % was 10% or something close better than Mosely
it's a F*#$king robberry
i respect Shane Mosely
he is a very good fighter, but everyone saw who really did win the fight
i guess boxing is rigged too bad
Yeah....the fight seems rigged....but I have to point out something. Mosley had De La Hoya at one point, but he backed off....wtf? I didn't pay PPV to freaking see that. I want to see some knockouts.
What also is a conspiracy is that Mosley's father thought that De La Hoya won the fight too....wtf??

I dont know if you've ever boxed, the number of punches landed dont count. You could throw 1000 more punches than your opponent and still lose. You could hit the guys shoulder, scrape the side of his head, or simply graze his side and its going to register as a hit. In this fight Oscar out hit Sugar. But Sugar had better quality shots. And again Sugar took the fight in the end. And judges look at that. They look at if one fighter has another in trouble at any point in the fight. And the fact that all Shane won by was 2 rounds on every score card says they were all looking at the same fight. Foreman still thinks he has Ali hurt in Africa he's so stupid. If you look at every other boxing analyst including ESPN"S they'll tell you that Shane won a very close fight. No #@*&&#* conspiracy.

For example: In baseball, when Mcguire was hitting all those homers, he still wasnt the best player in baseball.
Just cause Vince Carter dunks the ball better than Allan Houston does, doesn't mean he's a better player.
So your theory about quality, doesnt stand up too well.
And if you saw Foreman/ Ali,.... then you'd know that Ali was hurt. Foreman just got tired of beating up on him and punched himself out.

Well I've never boxed, but boxing is boxing, and if you out box your opponent, then you're doing your job to the fullest extent. In any sport, it doesnt matter how many times you make your opponent look bad, the only thing that matters are the numbers.

In boxing, quality > quantity
One needs to only look as far as the De La Hoya/Trinidad fight to see that.

Not true a hit is register by someone simply clicking a button. So again if you can hit someone more times than they hit you. And Ali was not hurt. He fooled Foreman into that thinking. Foreman wore him self out. De La Hoya threw alot of punches but not many were effective. Sugar hurt De La Hoya more than a few times and once De La Hoya was in real trouble. And the final four rounds were almost even except that Sugar had better quality shots and De La Hoya was worn out. And you theory about numbers just proved my point. Mac was not the best player he just had great numbers. Same is true here.
